August 11 was my birthday. Happy 22nd birthday to me!
Guananico lost the last tribal immunity. Go figure. Ashley is voted out and I feel relieved. If Ashley was to stay, it would have been terribly obvious that she was in an alliance. Now that she is gone, I feel a lot better.
I am NOT happy with the merge. People on my tribe are saying "Yea!" but NOT ME! I wanted at least one more tribal immunity so our tribe did not have to go to tribal. I was confident we would have won every immunity from here on out. Plus, one person in the merged tribe will not be on the jury. I don't want to be the first one voted out because I really want to at least make jury. That way, I have a hand in deciding who the winner is.
I do feel safe enough to where if I lose this immunity, I will not be voted out. I did try my best, and my internet did honestly go out if anyone is doubting me. I was thinking about throwing it but decided to post as much as possible until I could not post any more. I even had an atomic clock next to me that was in sync with time down to seconds with the clock on this board.
Last night, John talked to me and said that we should share the contents inside that paper bag if either of us were to win. Well, that was the main reason I was going to throw the challenge. I don't want to share anything with him because I can't trust him! However, I'm thinking and he might be honest with me. He might really want a final 2 deal with me, but ... something just doesn't feel right about it. I can't place my trust in him. I hope that my AIM convo with him from last night is saved because I forgot to post it.
Sandy is trying to talk to me (and flirt ). I don't trust her. I want her gone.
Lydia - I LOVE LOVE LOVE Lydia! My PM's with her make me feel so good... but she could easily be playing me.
In the back of my mind, I CAN'T trust anyone here 100%. I need to remind myself of that as much as possible. If I were to give certain information to Lydia... such as John offering me an alliance, there would be no going back. I would have to backstab John. If I don't say anything about the alliance to Lydia, I can keep both her AND John... but I don't think Lydia would trust me as much if I were not to tell her about a secret alliance. Hmmm. What if John created a 2 person alliance with Lydia? And we expose him? Seriously, why would John choose me to create an alliance with? It was only one conversation we had. Gosh, ugh. This is why I like watching the game better than playing it. Because SARA knows what is going on! lol
So, why don't I post my thoughts about each of the players at this point in time.
Frosti, Natalie, and Austin - I haven't had communication with them. I want them gone.
Sandy - being too over the top in her PM's. I would like her gone first.
J.P. - don't trust the guy. Barely talk to him, but he is very nice.
John - He says we're in a final 2 alliance, but why would he trust me? Something isn't right there.
Stephenie - love her, but don't trust her because of the communication. There hasn't been a lot lately.
Jenna - I loved her at first, but now we're barely talking...
Lydia - If there is one person in the game I would place all my trust in, it would be her. She could easily be playing me though.

Me: "Woohoo, no tribal!
I didn't even look at Ashley being the first one in the other tribe's boat. They must be pissed about that. lol Well, it's her time to go, and better her than one of us! I'm glad all of our inactives are gone!
Thanks for the nice vacation wishes. It's nice to be home and just rest in my own private room and bed."
Jenna: "Yep, I am so happy right now!
I don't really care who goes on their side, as long as it's one of them at this point.
And you're welcome, hope you had fun. I will catch you on AIM sometime these days."
--------------------------------------------------------------
Me: "I bet the other tribe is ticked at Ashley. I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and say she is going next. lol
I'm also hoping for a majority when we go to merge. It's always a good thing to have numbers on your side.
What's funny is that you would think that I would be gone by now. If it wasn't for such a poor showing at the 2nd immunity by the other tribe, Sierra vanishing all of a sudden, and Ashley not showing up for the challenge, I could have been gone and we would be going to tribal tonight! But I'm thankful to still be here and playing (and inactives on the other tribe haha), and I'm ready to kick butt in the next challenge!
And I changed the subject from "bye, peter." i'm trying to forget about him. haha"
Lydia: "Haha thanks for finally changing the subject! And nah, I don't think you ever were in any danger of going. You were super active before you left, and everyone knew you would be active when you got back. Had Sierra not vanished, I have confidence you still would have made it through.
I feel like each round, another inactive pops up and becomes the one voted out. If the other tribe keeps Ashley after that, then I will definitely be surprised. She is obviously in some sort of strong alliance if she can survive being the one solely responsible for her tribe's loss.
Yes, this next challenge is extremely important. Hopefully we can pull off a win!"
Lydia: "Yay! So glad we merged! <3 It is really a relief that we have the numbers advantage going into this. I hope that all of us original Altamiras can stick it out together and make the final 6. That'd be awesome!"
Me: "It would be awesome! I was kinda hoping we could do one more tribal challenge so none of us could go to tribal. lol"
Lydia: "Yeah, I totally know what you mean. Oh well. It looks like we have to do an endurance challenge. Grrr. I suck at these. It looks like I'll just have to strip with Jenna for some chocolate and peanut butter. Hopefully I don't get too distracted and don't completely fail in this challenge. Lol. I'd love to see what is inside that bag."
Me: "I hate endurance because I get distracted easily by people stripping with jenna for some chocolate and peanut butter. lol. I bet anything that there is a clue for a hidden immunity idol in that bag. In fact, I bet the idol might be on another proboard. I wonder if STEphenie and Natalie had a chance to look inside a plastic bag like that while on exile island?"
Lydia: "I was wondering the exact same thing, Brendan. Gosh, you need to get out of my head! Lol! I'm sure the contents of that paper bag are very similar to what Stephenie and Natalie found at Exile Island. To us, it would seem like this game is very back to basic in the way that there were just two tribes fighting for immunity and then a merge at ten with no big twists. However, I feel like there is another layer to it that we have not seen yet.
I feel like that paper bag just is adding another layer to the layer that Stephenie and Natalie found at Exile Island. Of course, this is all theory, but Sara would not have added that paper bag as an incentive if it did not have something good in it. In addition, we would not have had to send the strongest from each tribe to Exile Island if there were not something important there.
Steph has revealed nothing to me about Exile Island. Why would she? It seemed as if they just went there for immunity and also chose the rowing rotation for the next challenge -- the perfect cover-up.
I like where you're head is at, and I am glad that I am not the only one thinking about these things! I do not want to approach Steph and interrogate her about what she found at Exile Island because it could lead to tension and dissension within our group of six, but I feel like there is definitely something going on, and I do not want it to be some sort of hidden immunity idol or power that eventually would hurt my game."
Me: "LOL, we just think so much alike! We definitely need to talk more about our theories. We also need to talk about who from the other tribe we're going to vote out too. Probably just wait and see how everyone does in the immunity challenge. The only person who has contacted me on the other tribe was Sandy and looks like she's already trying to flirt.
I agree with you that there has to be another layer. Sara seems like a huge survivor fan and like you said she already has seasons up to season 6! She definitely has something planned. In fact, I've been searching for proboards like lyssurvivorhii.proboards.com or lyssurvivorhiddenimmunityidol.com or ever saraisthebesthostever.proboards.com lol. But I haven't found anything.
I wouldn't approach Steph either. She may try to take us out... and I wouldn't want to flush an idol out and risk losing a tribe mate either. But it is survivor and some people HAVE to have secrets. I love talking to you because you're the only person I know here who is sharing huge thoughts like what the game has in store. No one else seems to do that. They just want to be buddy/buddy... but this is a game! Someone is hiding something.
I'm going to start the immunity challenge. I hate doing endurance because... well... because! lol"
-------------------------
Me to Stephenie: "I guess I can keep the subject the same since we won again! haha Awesome job and you did a good job with the order of the way we do this challenge while you were on exile. I bet Natalie is thinking to herself, "stupid, stupid, stupid," but it wouldn't have mattered anyways. lol We still would have won."
Stephenie: "Thanks! Yeah that stinks for them that they couldn't even begin without Ashley. And just so you know I only put you last because I wanted to give you time to come back from your vacation or being away. But like you said, we would have won anyway"

Sent this to JP during the last challenge
Me: "Hey JP. nice work on the challenge so far, but you need to go down to 10 feet before unclipping the token."

Sandy: "~Hi Brendan~
Mr. Hottie!! omg... So what's going on with you tonight?
Congratulations on making it to the merge by the way! Were like half way there now. AMAZING! Lol. So I think you should tell me a little about yourself, lol. I look forward to speaking with you soon Brendan.
Oh.. do you have AIM? Have a goodnight!
~Love Sandy~"
Me: "Hey Sandy, thanks for the flattering message! I'm glad to still be here too! I do have AIM and I have it posted on that AIM list in the tribe camp. I will talk to you soon!
I'm sure you're glad to be off Guananico. You seemed to have been plagued with inactives."
Sandy: "~Hey Brendan~
Your welcome for the flattering message. Ha ha ha. So... I didn't even know there was an AIM thread started; so thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Lol
So what's going on with you tonight?
I added you on AIM; I'm excited to see you on AIM sometime!!
~Love Sandy~"
Me: "Not muchis going on right now. Just going to try and do the best I can in the immunity challenge. good luck!"
